Apparently this place was very good when it started a few years back, not so now. 2 other customers here on my Saturday afternoon visit, with an extremely annoying kid who was doing my head in. Give me a dog any day! I presume Tom was the lad behind the bar, wouldn't fancy taking a beer back to him with a complaint. The place is comfortable enough, but there was something lacking here. No welcome, or friendly smile for a visitor, I just didn't take to it at all. There's a large keg selection here, and only 1 ale on, which was Altar Ego Goblin Mode priced at £4 a pint, it was okay but didn't warrant another. Not for me.
